    Student Entrepreneur? Enter the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards now!

    The Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA’s) are the premier global competition for undergraduate and graduate
    students to adopt entrepreneurial endeavors by bringing global visibility to student business owners who are innovative, profitable and socially responsible. The Global Student Entrepreneur Awards are a program of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) and is sponsored by the Kauffman Foundation.

    Recently featured on Breakfast news, you can hear about the experience from NZ’s 2012 winner, Jonathan Wraite.

    The GSEA global series of competitions is open to student entrepreneurs who are attending a recognized high school, college or university, own a for profit business, are principally responsible for its operation and have been generating revenue for a minimum period of six consecutive months.

    The Judges will consider four major criteria in their selection of the NZ Winner to compete in Washington DC:
    1. You, the Entrepreneur – do you have the determination to succeed;
    2. Business Fundamentals – ethics, financials and embracing change;
    3. Lessons Learned – using mentors and marketing;
    4. Growth and future plans

    For more information, visit the GSEA website.

      EO New Zealand seemed like the best business group here, based on my research. No other organisation in NZ offers the same scope or format with respect to learning, events and connecting with like-minded people.

      I have been a member of a number of business organisations eg BNI, Chamber of Commerce, Employers & Manufacturers but they didn’t provide the breadth or global connections I was seeking. As a member of EO New Zealand, I don’t need to be a member of any other business organisation – I get everything I need and more from EO.
